How are you different from other business coaches?
I combine over 30 years of business experience with life coaching skills to help my clients break through external and internal obstacles.
Other business coaches are either life coaches who don’t have business experience or business consultants who offer cookie-cutter solutions.
I cost more than inexperienced life coaches and cost less than pop-star business coaches.
What are "prescriptive coaching programs"?
A prescriptive coaching program targets specific business needs. I have created three prescriptive coaching programs: 1) Business Diagnostic; 2) Financial Planning; and 3) Leadership & Delegation. How much time will I need to invest in a coaching engagement?
Each coaching program is a little different. The exact time commitment will be outlined in each coaching proposal. Since most business owners are already too busy, each program is designed to take as little time as possible to achieve your desired goals.
The good news is that most of my clients gain free time after implementing recommendations that surface in business coaching sessions.
What results can I expect from coaching?
Results vary by client.
One of my clients doubled their revenue while decreasing weekly hours in their business.

What is your specific niche industry?
My experience is primarily in energy efficiency engineering and the construction industry, where I led a regional Energy Service Company. That said, I have coached a diverse range of clients, including insurance agencies, acupuncturists, engineering consultants, small manufacturers, HVAC contractors, small equipment repair shops, and website development companies.
My ideal client owns a service-based business in the U.S. that earns $500,000 to $10,000,000 per year.

Do I need to attend a Discovery Session before I buy a coaching package?
Yes. A Discovery Session is an opportunity for me to understand your business and some of the challenges you face. It is also a chance for you to learn more about me.
How is business coaching different than business consulting?
A consultant gives prescriptive advice based on their expertise in a specific area. A coach helps you think strategically, see blind spots, and build decision-making habits so you can run your business with confidence long-term. My role is to help you uncover the right path and stay accountable, not hand you cookie-cutter templates. That said, I do have specific tools and framework that I use for my prescriptive coaching programs… so I do a little of both 🙂
What do you mean by ‘Mechanics & Mindset’?
The mechanics are the tangible parts of your business like operations, sales, finance, and organization structure. The mindset is how you and your team approach challenges and opportunities. Both matter. Mechanics without the right mindset stalls progress; mindset without mechanics creates chaos. My coaching helps you strengthen both sides so your business runs and grows smoothly.
How does the cost compare between coaching and consulting?
A consultant often charges between $5,000 to $100,000 for a specific engagement to do investigative work and prepare detailed reports. A coach will charge between $50 and $1,000 per coaching session, and doesn’t provide detailed investigations or reports. Coaching sessions create epiphanies for business owners who execute their own solutions.
What does business coaching cost?
A Discovery Session is free. The cost for individual coaching sessions is $400 per session. My prescriptive coaching packages cost $3,500 and deliver a specific result in 4-6 weeks.
